IDENTIFICATION SURVEYS
Identification Surveys are certified by a registered surveyor, and are typically requested when buying or selling property. They establish the location of the property boundary and determine possible encroachments onto neighbouring properties, locate the buildings with respect to the boundaries, and investigate any covenants, easements or restrictions over the land that are noted on the Title.
Identification Surveys are also commonly required throughout the construction process, either for the purposes of progress payments by your lending institution or for the issuing of a Building Certificate at each stage and on completion of the project. They are often required by legal professionals, vendors, purchasers, and Councils.
